Strictly’s Joanne Clifton to launch Festival of the Sea, Grimsby

Join us on Instagram live @thelincolnshirechef this Wednesday at 430pm as Grimsby’s new Festival of the Sea launches its programme and hosts Strictly Come Dancing star Joanne Clifton in a ‘Made Great in Grimsby’ Cook-along special.
Festival of the Sea is being hosted on 17 July in Grimsby Town Centre and will see an exciting programme of street theatre and live music, together with heritage activity take place in St James’ Square.
Next Wednesday 16 June, Joanne will be cooking up Grimsby seafood live on Instagram at tea-time, under the guidance of ‘The Lincolnshire Chef’, Steve Bennet. Join in, to make a delicious, easy-cook dinner.
The forthcoming Festival of the Sea will invite local people and visitors on a voyage of discovery into Grimsby’s future, present and past through a fantastic free live event, complemented by a stimulating digital programme.
The festival’s full programme – produced by Grimsby-based events and festival’s organisation The Culture House working with arts organisation Walk the Plank – will be announced next week when the Festival website goes live, and tickets become available.
