Seafood business leaders from the Made Great in Grimsby region were recently recognised in the IntraFish 'Seafood Power Top 100 Executives' - influencing the global seafood sector.

In Grimsby senior executives of New England Seafood International, Dan Aherne, Young's Seafood, Simon Smith and Hilton Seachill, Matt Lee, were recognised as was for the first time, Simon Dwyer, Seafox Management Consultants. Seafox manages the business affairs of the region's seafood cluster membership organisations and were celebrated by IntraFish declaring 'And when you think of Grimsby, you think of Simon Dwyer'.
In addition, top executives of seafood organisations who invest in Grimsby and the Humber were listed including Nissui and Maruha both based in Japan, Iceland headquartered Samerjhi, Espersens of Denmark and Norwegian owned Pelagia.

It creates a platform for further investment and it's no coincidence the region is targeted for investment in automation, innovation, skills, and new technology such as land based farming.
