Neil Hornby, CEO of the Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science (CEFAS) based in Lowestoft visited the Grimsby seafood processing cluster. Organised by the Seafish Industry Authority, Neil met many of the clusters' stakeholders including visits to Pelagia, Alfred Enderby, Eurofins, and Young’s Seafood.

Neil learnt about the cluster and supply chain as well as its future aspirations from cluster Executive, Simon Dwyer, and National Centre for Food Manufacturing representatives, Prof Val Braybrooks and Prof Mark Swainson.

Neil Hornby said "It was great to reacquaint myself with what's going on in Grimsby and hear about all the exciting developments planned. It was a pleasure to enjoy some of the best from #MadeGreatInGrimsby seafood produce too".

Seafish Industry Authority CEO, Marcus Coleman, commented "It was a real pleasure to have Neil visit Grimsby. We’re all very keen to tell the Grimsby story about collaboration, innovation, and sustainability alongside the significant scale and importance of the cluster in terms of UK food security, local economic regeneration, and community support. So thanks to Neil for taking a keen interest in our passion"
